I recently was in a meeting with the TIE Network Manager from Georgia Public Broadcasting. In that meeting we had a great discussion about
Pure Digital's Flip Video Cameras and how teachers in Georgia are really starting to embrace this new video camera into their classrooms. You can go and read all the
buzz about the Flip Video Cameras over on the TIE Network blog and be sure to read the comments section as well. I also came across the Techlearning blog where educator Mark Ahlness has come up with
10 great ways teachers can implement these new Flip Video Cameras into the curriculum. This blog entry is not only about a great Top Ten list for these new portable video cameras, but he offers excellent commentary on how capturing video proofs of students can impact the learning process.

And over at
Apple's Learning Interchange I could not help but get excited on how one elementary school is using iPods along with a voice recorder to record students' reading progress, comprehension and fluency. Intermediate students are also encouraged to use Apple's Garageband to edit the audio and save them into mp3 files which can then be turned into podcasts! For folks on the Windows platform, the
free program Audacity can be used for the editing and saving to the mp3 file format.
